SENSESCLUB—A gift without the guesswork.

I had the chance to work on SensesClub's visual communication during its early stage, helping translate the idea of experience-based gifting into a cohesive visual identity and physical gift experience.

The concept was simple: instead of guessing what someone would like, give them the freedom to choose.

Beyond design, my role also involved product production and administration — managing the entire process from concept to delivery, ensuring that every gift box met the brand's promise of premium quality and a memorable experience.

The Idea

What do you give someone when you don't know what they want?

SensesClub approached gifting differently.

Instead of asking the giver to guess what someone might like, the gift gave the recipient the freedom to choose an experience for themselves — from dining and wellness to golf, travel and other curated experiences.

Don't choose the gift.
Give them the choice.

The Work

The work included building a visual system that could hold everything together — from the identity and packaging to the catalogue and voucher. Each piece had to feel part of the same premium experience, while serving a different purpose in the gift journey.

Identity

A visual language built around discovery, not just luxury. The logotype, color palette and graphic system were designed to feel open and inviting — like the beginning of a journey.

Packaging

The physical box was designed to make the act of gifting feel like the beginning of an experience. Clean lines, premium materials and a restrained palette signaled quality without being overwhelming.

Catalogue

A world of possibilities inside. The catalogue turned a simple voucher into a curated journey, showcasing dozens of experiences across dining, wellness, golf and leisure.

Voucher

The physical token that connects the gift to the experience. Simple, elegant and functional.

The Product

Crystal – A striking, avant-garde shape that makes a bold statement.

Gold – The classic signature, refined and perfectly balanced.

Platinum – The most generous and exclusive assortment.

Beyond the retail offering, SensesClub also provided a corporate gifting solution — designing custom gift boxes tailored to each brand's identity. This allowed companies to offer their partners and clients a premium, on-brand experience, while retaining the flexibility of choice that made SensesClub unique.

For TechcomBank and TPBank, SensesClub designed custom birthday gifts for their VIP customers. Each box — Crystal, Gold, or Platinum — contained a catalogue, voucher, envelope, and gift card, all wrapped in the brand's own visual identity.

Behind the scenes

A glimpse behind the work — from production and materials to the people and moments that made it happen.

Takeaway

The most important part wasn't making the box feel premium. It was making the choice feel exciting.

Looking back, the strongest part was how the identity connected very different experiences under one system. The design had to feel premium enough for gifting, but open enough to accommodate everything from fine dining to outdoor activities.

SensesClub was an interesting exercise in designing around an intangible product. The real challenge wasn't just crafting a beautiful gift box — it was making an abstract promise feel tangible, desirable and worth opening.

Running production and admin alongside design gave me a front-row seat to the entire ecosystem — from sourcing materials to coordinating with vendors and managing deliveries. It reinforced what I already suspected: great design doesn't stop at the mockup. It lives in how it's made, delivered, and experienced.
