Panasonic Tet Gift — A premium Lunar New Year gift set
In the second half of 2019, while working at DAIKO Vietnam, I designed a Tet gift set for Panasonic in preparation for Lunar New Year 2020.
The set was created as a customer appreciation gift, bringing together wine, chocolate and printed collateral within a unified packaging experience. My role focused on the visual design of the gift set and its presentation across the box and accompanying materials.

The Idea
In the second half of 2019, while working at DAIKO Vietnam, I designed a Tet gift set for Panasonic in preparation for Lunar New Year 2020.
The set was created as a customer appreciation gift, bringing together wine, chocolate and printed collateral within a unified packaging experience. My role focused on the visual design of the gift set and its presentation across the box and accompanying materials.
The Work
The gift experience was developed as a coordinated set rather than a single package. The outer box, internal arrangement and printed card were designed to work together as one consistent presentation, from the first impression of the closed box to the reveal of the gifts inside.
PACKAGING
The packaging was built around a deep navy box with gold detailing, giving the gift set a formal and premium character while maintaining a clear connection to Panasonic’s visual presence.
Inside, the wine and chocolate were organised within a structured presentation tray, while a large printed card completed the experience. The same decorative artwork was carried across the exterior and printed elements to keep the set visually connected from outside to inside.
The result was a compact gifting system designed to feel considered as a whole — not simply a collection of products placed inside a box.
Takeaway
This project reminded me that packaging is an experience before it is a surface. The way a box opens, how each item is presented and how the printed pieces relate to one another all contribute to how the gift is perceived.
Working on the Panasonic Tet Gift also gave me more experience designing within an established brand while introducing enough seasonal character to make a one-off occasion feel special.
